Mynerva Privacy Policy


This privacy policy governs your use of the Mynerva software service (“Service”) that was created by The University of Michigan. The Service includes a self-guided computational textbook and/or a system for authoring, publishing, and distributing a self-guided computational textbooks.

What information does the Services obtain and how is it used?

User Provided Information

The Service obtains the information you provide when users register for the Service. Registration with us is optional. However, please keep in mind that you may not be able to use some of the features offered by the Service unless you register with us. Registration with us is mandatory in order to be able to use the basic features of the Service. When you register with us and use the Service, you generally provide: (a) your name, email address, age, user name, password and other registration information; (b) transaction-related information, such as when you respond to any offers or inquiries, access new services, or download or use services from us; (c) information you provide us when you contact us for help; (d) information you enter into our system when using the Service, such as contact information and project management information; (e) your responses to questions or problems that are posed to you through the Service. This Service does not collect precise information about the location of your device.
